Membership updates
Starting June 1, 2024, we will be introducing updates to our membership levels, rates, and benefits. It has been 20 years since we've last updated our membership pricing, and we hope you will agree that your membership continues to be an excellent investment, offering both wonderful benefits to you—such as free admission, member-only programming, and discounts in the Store and Café—and helping to bring award-winning arts education and exhibitions of socially relevant contemporary art to San José and Silicon Valley.
Access to the arts remains vital to SJMA’s mission. Members like you help us ensure free admission for children ages 17 and under, college students, and teachers. Additionally, we will offer a discount of $20 on Individual, Dual, Young Professional, and Family memberships for students, teachers, seniors, working artists, and nonprofit professionals. Please reach out to membership@sjmusart.org to learn more about how to activate this discount.
Starting June 1, 2024, dues for these membership levels will increase as follows:
Individual: $60
Dual (formerly Dual/Family): $90
Young Professional: $120
Family (formerly Advocate): $180
If you would like to renew early (before May 31, 2024), you may lock in another year at your current membership rate and benefits. Your membership will be extended from your current membership expiration date.
