Director's Council

You can make a real difference by becoming a member of the Director’s Council, a group of individuals who are deeply committed to supporting the arts and want to participate in particularly exciting SJMA-sponsored VIP events. By joining this distinguished group you will enjoy all of the benefits of the Council of 100 plus:

  • Receive invitations to VIP receptions, dinners, and private programs where you can meet noted artists and art world figures
  • Participate in an annual vote to purchase/select a work for the Museum's permanent collection
  • Have opportunities to travel to national and international art destinations
  • Receive invitations to private in-home events and collection visits

Join us for a day trip to San Francisco to visit Anthony Meier Fine Arts located in a landmark Pacific Heights mansion designed by renowned San Francisco architect Willis Jefferson Polk and followed by private collection visits and a cocktail reception on Russian Hill.

Wednesday–Sunday, March 3–7, 2010
Every March, artists, galleries, collectors, critics, and curators from all over the world make New York their destination during Armory Arts week. Our trip will include behind-the-scenes visits to galleries, museums, artists’ studios, and private collections.
